Avoiding Scams

  • XO Bestie is a free-to-use app, meaning there are no charges for downloading, signing up, browsing, or creating your profile.
  • You are only charged a fee when you successfully complete a sale.
  • There are no listing fees, monthly charges, or subscription costs, and you can list unlimited items on the platform.
  • For shipping, you can either use XO Bestie’s discounted shipping options or choose your own preferred carrier.
  • When it comes to returns, you have full control over your return policy and can decide whether you or the customer will cover return shipping costs.

Payment Outside the Platform

Do not procceed if a buyer or seller asks you to continue the transaction outside the app to avoid platform fees. This can lead to payment fraud, or chargebacks. 

Impersonation of Support Staff

  • Our only official support email is [email protected]. If you receive an email from any other address claiming to be support, do not respond or share any information.
  • We will never ask for passwords, OTPs, bank details, or login credentials through email.

General Safety Tips

  • Never share OTPs, passwords, or verification codes.
  • Keep all payments and communication within the platform.
  • Do not trust screenshots as proof of payment.
  • Report suspicious behavior immediately.
  • Avoid clicking unknown links sent through chat or SMS.
  • Use secure payment methods supported by the platform.

If you are ever asked to make a payment to download or use the app, or to complete any of the activities mentioned above, please do not proceed with the payment and report it to us immediately.
